Hace casi un mes que lei por encima esta noticia y la guarde en la carpeta “revisar” porque me parecio interesante. No me di cuenta hasta dia de hoy, que la he sacado, que era un obiturario por su muerte y no una noticia normal.

Impresionante la actitud de este hombre frente a la muerte. Paso de profesor universitario a autor del ‘best-seller’ mundial “The Last Lecture”, una lección de vida y muerte. Una transcripcion de su conferencia frente a 400 colegas y alumnos de su universidad que abrio diciendo que le habian diagnosticado un cancer y le quedaban de 3 a 6 meses de vida.
Un humor y una aceptacion de su muerte que le convirtieron en una de las cien personas más influyentes del 2007 segun la revista time.

Una de esas canciones que escuchas cuando estas hundido.. cuando solo quieres abrazarte a algo o a alguien…cuando lo unico que te apetece es llorar.. cuando coges tu cuaderno y te pones a dibujar porque es lo unico que se te da bien en este estado.. cuando lo unico que quieres es que pase el tiempo rapido… cuando quieres que ese dolor que te apreta el pecho quieres que desaparezca… cuando…
Ese tipo de cancion.

Ultimamente me he estado tragando hasta los creditos de las peliculas -parte de culpa la tiene la huelga de guionistas de series- ya que siempre descubres nuevas canciones y grupos, Point of Grace es uno de ellos. Catalogados dentro de “Cristianismo moderno” este grupo de chicas aparece en los creditos de Saving Sarah Cain, pelicula que os vuelvo recomendar. Una canción de las que no puedes dejar de escuchar una y otra vez, a ver lo que os parece.
Incluso perfecta para la primera cancion de casados despues de una boda.
